Welcome to the I-95 West River Bridge Project Site

The West River Bridge is a vital transportation structure constructed in 1958, carrying I-95 over the West River between New Haven and West Haven. Due to years of unforgiving New England weather, the bridge must be reconstructed to continue supporting the 135,000 cars and trucks that cross the West River on I-95 every day.

Completion of this bridge replacement project will allow for improved mobility and continue to benefit the region for years to come.
